The Environmental Forum of Marin’s Master Class 40 includes Susan Bierzychudek, founding principal of Green Ideals Group. This venerable group trains conscious people to become advocates for the natural environment, and was founded 40 years ago by Dr. Marty Griffin, who led the fight against development and urban sprawl in West Marin in the 1960s. Marin County is participating in National Plug In Day 2012, as part of a nationwide awareness and enthusiasm-building day. Green Ideals has been asked to develop collateral materials and signage to promote the event, at which attendees will learn how smart, efficient and affordable electric vehicles really are. June 18, 2012 | Green Ideals gives Environmental Forum of Marin a new identity
The venerable Environmental Forum of Marin, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, asked Green Ideals for a facelift with a fresh logo that more accurately represents its mission and values. The new logo was presented to an enthusiastic board in late May, 2012, and will begin to appear on the group’s website and collateral materials beginning in June.
April 23, 2012 | Green Ideals CEO hosts Hunter Lovins at Earth Day Festival
L. Hunter Lovins has been named a “Hero the the Planet” by Time Magazine. This green business icon came to Marin April 21st, to speak at the Earth Day Marin Festival held at Lagoon Park in San Rafael’s Civic Center. Green Ideals CEO Susan Bierzychudek, EDM Advisory Board member, hosted Lovins there, as she spoke about rebuilding our economy, cities, and job markets by embracing innovation, renewables, and new technologies–increasing profitability while saving the planet.
March 22, 2012 | MCE–new ad campaign takes flight
Marin Clean Energy gives electricity customers in Marin County the option to purchase renewable energy for their electricity, rather than relying on standard fossil fuels that generate harmful greenhouse gases. January 24, 2012 | LEAN Energy website launched
LEAN Energy U.S., the non-profit group that’s teaching communities all across the nation how to form and manage Community Choice Aggregations to secure renewable energy for residential and commercial customers in competition with the local power authority, launched their website on January 18, 2012.
