green ideals - building sustainable brands

Background: This mission-driven company purchases coffee beans and other foods from impoverished countries that use centuries-old farming traditions. They reinvest profits in the local communities from which they buy.

Challenge: The farming communities who grow these excellent beans are too poor to apply for organic certification, and therefore are beneath the notice of many seriously conscious coffee consumers. The brand needed an authentic brand voice whose integrity could be felt in a crowded and chaotic category.

Solution: Our gently naive illustrations took center stage, capturing the humanity and spirit of the people who produce these high quality products. Alluring enough to attract attention, they invite prospective customers to pick up the package and look closer, stepping into the lives of these hardworking people and their responsible farming practices—the original organic method.

“Green Ideals provided a caliber of marketing services that has enabled us to compete very well alongside much larger competitors, even the most successful companies. When we approached Amazon as a potential partner, they approved and rated us at gold status—their 2nd highest status possible—based solely on the product’s packaging.”
