Challenge: Non-profit with flagging membership and faded awareness levels, but a vital environmental mission

While this 40-year old all-volunteer environmental non-profit had impressive accomplishments to its credit, the brand’s voice—and membership—had been fading in recent years. A lack of notoriety had allowed other worthwhile organizations with more energetic marketing tactics to steal the spotlight. The need for prospective members with the available time and talents to continue the environmental work had become urgent.
Our solution was to give the brand better marketing tools for today’s audience—a facelift and a fresh voice that could bring it to the attention of more contemporary supporters, while retaining the recognition and loyalty of long-term members.
