Challenge: Yolo County and most of its major towns had just launched a new CCA. Awareness and loyalty levels were low, and PG&E’s bankruptcy added serious complications to the situation.
Solution: We dialed up a personal connection to the brand through changes to the website, collateral and ad materials.
Valley Clean Energy (VCE) was just starting out, and the energy environment was heating up as PG&E’s bankruptcy proceedings began to further erode confidence in utilities. Our determination to create positive expectations for the brand in its constituents included an original ad campaign that featured real people extolling the brand’s values, and an update and expansion of the website that immediately felt more optimistic and informative. All new collateral followed suite in visual and verbal style.
Our team for this work included local experts in digital and traditional outreach to assure an accurate view of Yolo County’s unique demographics.
“Hiring Green Ideals was the best possible choice to meet marketing and communications needs for Valley Clean Energy. They are very responsive, provide proactive guidance and high quality marketing materials, and are very easy to work with.”
